Charles W. Morgan at Mystic Seaport in Connecticut
Here, we see the Charles W. Morgan in more modern times as it is restored.
On November 8, 1941, lacking financial support from the city of New Bedford, the city's last whale ship,
the "Charles W. Morgan" was donated to Mystic Seaport by his sister and heir.
The ship had been enshrined at
Colonel Green's Estate at Round Hill.
The Colonel, in 1936 had already passed away.
