In the notes for the original photo she is listed at 1187 Pleasant Street in New Bedford.
However there is no such address in the city.

At 1187 Purchase Street in the 1912 city directory there is a fireman named Existe Lamarche; notation errors considered it is possibly her parent.
There is no listing for anyone named Marchland in New Bedford at that time.

The two streets run parallel to each other and are often confused by visitors to the city as was the photographer.
